Most Workplace Wellness Programs Miss the Point

Meditation apps. Wellness stipends. Mental health days.

There is nothing wrong with these, but they are usually only band-aids.

Your team doesn’t need more resources. They need to understand how their nervous system works and what to do when stress builds throughout the day.

Your team is carrying an invisible backpack.

Every tense meeting, difficult conversation, and personal worry gets tossed inside. The weight builds until they feel drained, reactive, or shut down, often without fully understanding why.

Their nervous system is a speeding train.

Back-to-back meetings, urgent emails, tight deadlines, the train gains speed all day. By evening, you tell them to get rest. But we can’t stop a speeding train instantly. Their mind keeps racing and their body stays tense.

No one teaches them how to empty the backpack or slow down the train.

That’s the gap I fill.

A Different Approach to Employee Well-Being

I’m Jeremy Schneider, a Licensed Master Social Worker and Family Therapist with 30 years of clinical experience and in every workshop, I teach practical tools grounded in neuroscience and trauma-informed practice using metaphors that make complex psychology instantly understandable.

Evidence-Based & Trauma-Informed

Grounded in cognitive and behavioral research, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice. I understand how stress affects the nervous system, and more importantly, how to work with it, instead of against it.

Metaphor-Driven Clarity

The Backpack. The Speeding Train. The Mental Marketplace. These aren’t just catchy phrases, but frameworks I’ve developed over 30 years to help people grasp what’s happening inside them so they can actually do something about it.

Relatable & Actionable

I don’t use jargon or forced positivity. Every session translates insight into clear, practical actions employees can apply immediately, usually that same day.

What Happens When Employees Get Real Tools

My name is Jeremy Schneider. I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker and Family Therapist, and I’ve spent 30 years developing these workshops and the frameworks that make them work.

“This was a phenomenal presentation that truly blew my mind. I have been in therapy for years. This is the first time I heard exactly HOW cognitive behavioral techniques work, explained with such clarity. The original concepts (like ‘Mental Marketplace’) are incredibly creative, extremely relatable, and highly impactful. I can’t possibly recommend this enough.”

Meet Jeremy

Social Worker, Family Therapist, and Creator of the Backpack Theory

I’ve spent 30 years helping people understand their emotional world and develop tools to navigate it with more clarity and less reactivity.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), I’ve worked with thousands of individuals facing trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm. I know how the nervous system works, and more importantly, how to work with it.

I also spent more than a decade as a Chief Technology Officer. I understand how businesses work, what leadership needs, and how to translate complex psychology into practical tools that employees can actually use in high-pressure environments.

The frameworks I teach, the Backpack Theory, the Speeding Train, the Mental Marketplace, aren’t borrowed from textbooks. I developed them over three decades of clinical practice and lived experience to make the invisible visible and the overwhelming manageable.

I’ve led workshops for thousands of people. My approach is grounded in research, delivered with warmth, and designed for real life, not just theory.

If your team is carrying weight they don’t know how to process, I can help.

Your Team's Nervous System Is Still Speeding. Do You Want to Give Them Tools to Slow It Down?

I typically work with 3-4 organizations per month. I’m currently scheduling workshops for Q1 & Q2 2026.

If employee well-being is part of your strategy this year, let’s talk.
